The Role of Meal Assistant with Us

As a meal assistant at Kolla Parkstad preschool, you will work in a receiving kitchen.

You will be responsible for preparing breakfast and snacks, as well as cooking side dishes for lunch. You ensure that the meals are both tasty and inviting.

Your Responsibilities:

• Preparation of side dishes and meal preparation
• Receiving goods and self-control
• Handling special diets and allergy adaptations
• Dishwashing, cleaning, and good food hygiene
• Collaboration with educators for a safe and positive meal situation

Your Profile

As a person, you are meticulous and enjoy working independently, while also being able to collaborate when needed. You are flexible and responsible, with a solution-oriented approach that allows you to take initiative and find ways forward even when challenges arise. You express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written, as this is required in daily work. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

We are looking for someone who has:

• experience from kitchens, large kitchens, or similar operations
• knowledge of food hygiene and special diets

It is an advantage if you have:

• previously worked in preschool or school kitchens

Our Offer and Additional Information

We offer a permanent part-time position (81.3%) starting April 27 or by agreement.
